A Site Tour
A short journey around the site to get a feel for what is here and what it is for.
Navigation Buttons
We call them navigation buttons (or tabs) because that is what most other sites call them.
The navigation buttons are like commands. Each does a specific function for us. They are at the top of every page, so you never have to wonder how to find them. Here is what they do:
- Feedback
- Presents a simple form so that you can quickly send a message to the site administration. This can be anything you want us to know: something doesn't work, something you see is wrong or inappropriate, or perhaps you just have a question. We will respond (if needed) by email.
- Welcome
- This button gathers up some introductory material for first time visitors to the site.
- Members
- The Members button is only visible when you are logged in. It allows you to search the site for members by name or by other criteria. It is one way of finding information provided by a particular author.
- About
- The About button brings together information about the creation, operation, and use of the site.
- Articles
- Searches the site and lists, by category, all contributed articles with a summary of each.
- Discussion
- Takes you to the discussion board, where you can exchange questions, answers, and comments with other members.
- Blogs
- Members with a strong Mercury in their chart (and more Jupiter than Saturn) will probably take to Blogs as a convenient way to get their ideas across. This button provides you with a list of blogs on the site.
- FAQ
- It's amazing how quickly a question and answer format can get you started. The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) button presents access to questions about the site and about Astro*Carto*Graphy.
