Greetings

Welcome to Astrocartography Net.  We hope you are enjoying your use of the site which is owned and maintained by Trigon Corporation, the legal name of Astro Numeric Service.  Our physical mail address is PO Box 336, Ashland OR  97520 USA. The purpose of this document is to put in writing our rules and expectations regarding use of the site so that we can avoid misunderstandings and mistaken assumptions.

Legal Agreement

These terms constitute a legal agreement between the user of Astrocartography Net (You) and the owner and administrator of the site, which we shall call here ACGnet.   You accept this agreement by using the site or by maintaining a member folder on the site (joining).  You may terminate it by 1) notifying ACGnet that you want your membership terminated, and 2) no longer use the site.  If you do not accept the agreement, you may not use the site.

Provision and Use of Services

ACGnet provides a number of services on the site, such as the ability to publish articles, blogs, and discussions, communicate with other members. and editing and storage of material written by you.  These services may change from time to time.  You also acknowledge that ACGnet may discontinue providing these services to you or to users generally at any time without notice.  You may stop using the services at any time without informing ACGnet.

You agree that if ACGnet discontinues your membership you may not have access to the services, nor to information or files which you may have published or  posted from your member folder.

Member Information

As part of providing you with a member folder and registration so as to allow use of  many features of the site, you agree to provide certain information, such as name, email address, and possibly other information.  You agree that registration information will be accurate and up to date.

Legal Use

You agree to use the site only for purposes permitted by these terms and permitted by applicable laws in the legal jurisdiction where you live.

Permitted Access

You agree not to access the services of the site through any other means than the user interface provided by the site. In particular, you agree not to use automated means such as bots or scripts to access information or services from the site.  You agree not to engage in any activity which disrupts provision of the services to you or other users, or interferes with the operation of the servers providing the services.  You also agree not to reproduce, copy, sell, or resell the services for any purpose.

Passwords

You agree to keep your password to the site confidential and to immediately report to ACGnet any unauthorized use of your password.  You also acknowledge responsibility for all activities under your user id.

Content

We refer to information presented on the site, whether text, files, images, audio, movies, or other information as "content".    You may find content which is offensive to you and in this respect you use the site at your own risk.  The responsibility for the content on the site rests with the provider of the content.  You agree to take responsibility for the consequences of content you place on the site.

License to Publish

By posting content on the site, you agree to provide ACGnet with a license to reproduce and publish the material worldwide on the site.  You retain any copyright or other rights you have in the material.  You confirm and warrent to ACGnet that you have the right to provide this license to publish to ACGnet.  You have the right to withdraw material you have provided from the site at any time.

Advertising

ACGnet may place advertising on the site as a means of generating revenue to pay the expenses of the site.  You agree that, in consideration for your use of the site, it is permissible for ads to be placed alongside material you post or publish on the site.  You also agree that you will not place advertising as part or all of the material you contribute to the site.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be changed by ACGnet without prior notice.  They will be posted at this same location.  You agree that ACGnet may send you email notification of changes to these terms or other site policies.  Your continued use of the site after notification of a change in terms will be considered acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

You acknowledge and agree to the Privacy Policy of the site.
