Under Any Sun Line
"These are very positive places, and under any sun line, pride, vanity and an urge to action demand that you become master of your own fate, be your own boss, and make things happen. Humor, leadership and hope are accented… Circumstances constantly demand loyalty, affection, exuberance & extroversion of you. There will be a thirst for recognition and renown…success as a self-made hero, artist or producer comes…"

John Lennon’s mother bought him his first guitar. His aunt Mimi, with whom he lived for most of his childhood, hoped that he would soon grow bored with it.
"She was skeptical of Lennon’s claim that he would be famous one day, and often told him, ‘The guitar’s all very well, John, but you’ll never make a living out of it.’ Years later, when the Beatles were successful, John presented Mimi with a silver platter engraved with those words."

"You seem on stage in relationships, which bring out the best in you… Artistic people are attracted to you. Cooperation, sexuality, competition and one to one relationships are areas of high awareness and the stage on which you define yourself."

Lennon founded his first group, The Quarry Man Skiffle band, in March 1957 while still attending Quarry Bank Grammar school. A few months later, the band met guitarist Paul McCartney at the Woolton Garden Fete. McCartney's father later allowed the Quarrymen to rehearse in his front room.

Under Any Mercury Line
"Where Mercury, messenger of the gods, dominates your chart, mind, communication, travel, ideas, verbal expression and work develop best. These are good places for perfection of mental and verbal skills, education, travel, the perfection of wit, a mischievous irreverence and youthful mentality… Mercury stands for the process of initiation, recognition of your own name, and under its lines, you are noticed…"

"Here is where you should go to succeed…to sell your ideas, or to promote yourself. You tend to reflect prevailing ideas, and your mind is stimulated to grow through relationships…Your own work concerns, hobbies, verbal abilities and mental creativity become identified with other people, and can be perfected with their help."
- Jim Lewis: Astro*Carto*Graphy
"Lennon was considered the leader of The Beatles, as he founded the original group. McCartney said, ‘We all looked up to John. He was older and he was very much the leader – he was the quickest wit and the smartest and all that kind of thing.’"

Under Any Mars Line
"Mars’ power is intense and should be used with caution. Under Mars, you tend to be boisterous, opportunistic, masterful, dominating, courageous, and overcome by passions like jealousy and anger…Temper, violence, passion, sex and other biological urges are here more powerful… even marriage is contentious under Mars."
- Jim Lewis: Astro*Carto*Graphy
"Lennon failed all his GCE O-level examinations by one grade. He was accepted into the Liverpool College of Art with help from his school’s headmaster, and his Aunt Mimi, who was insistent that John should have some sort of academic qualifications…he was often disruptive in class with most of the teachers refusing to take him in their classes. He also picked on anyone who was in anyway different, using his quick wit and sense of humour to bully them."- Wikipedia biography of John Lennon
MA DSC:
"Love is passionate and competively assertive, and relationships usually passionate and combative. Marriage is apt to get rather unpleasant, though this is an area where others find you sexually appealing and you are the willing or unwilling object of their attentions."
- Jim Lewis: Astro*Carto*Graphy
"They often had sex in alleys or shop doorways, but Cynthia did not enjoy those ‘snatched encounters’. Lennon’s jealousy could manifest itself in cruel and aggressive behaviour toward Cynthia, as when Lennon slapped her across the face (knocking her head against the wall) the day after he saw her dancing with Stuart Sutcliffe."- Wikipedia biography of John Lennon
MA*PL:
"You cut loose from the past and start all over again, you have to see yourself as a ‘man among men’, so are compulsive about your masculine image in some way…Crimes may be perpetrated, not so much for gain, but to prove yourself, and passion here can be explosive and dangerous."
-Jim Lewis: Astro*Carto*Graphy
"During their early friendship, Lennon encouraged McCartney to steal cigarettes, sweets, or books from shops, and they found a shared interest in playing jokes on other band members and on their teachers."
