Do progressions and current transits come into astrocartography interpretations?

Hi Denise,

Progressions and transits are very important with Astro*Carto*Graphy as they show which temporary influences are taking place around the world. This is called Cyclo*Carto*Graphy which uses a combination of progressions and transits. It is possible to purchase a Cyclo*Carto*Graphy Map from Astro Numeric Service, and it is supplied with a booklet that explains how to use it. Ordering this kit is certainly the best way to learn about Cyclo*Carto*Graphy.

I always use Cyclo*Carto*Graphy for clients as it shows "when" on an Astro*Carto*Graphy map. Astrologers use at least progressions and transits when examining a birth chart, so the same must also be done with Astro*Carto*Graphy. I'm amazed at the number of astrologers who use Astro*Carto*Graphy for clients and don't consider Cyclo*Carto*Graphy.

If you have any questions about Cyclo*Carto*Graphy, let me know and I answer them as best as I can.

David

Dear Denise,

Well, Jim Lewis insisted they do...or you don't get your Astro*Carto*Graphy Licensed Interpreter diploma!!!

You know, places have their times - in Sophia and Marcello's day it was Rome, in the Sixties it was London, Berlin had its hot buzzy time, and soon it may be Mars....And we have times when things are hard, or easy, and over time, our relationships with places change, too. It's a space-time kind of thing. If you're just sitting sround the fire (preferably the pool) exploring your new Astro*Carto*Graphy map kit, well, of COURSE it's de rigeur to dream and explore, oohing and ahhing over the weird and thrilling places in the world the lines on your map will lead you.

Who KNEW men would fall madly in love with you in Istanbul? Do you DARE buy real estate in the Seychelles? Should you buy a condo now or wait? And what a PITY that Paramus, New Jersey is such a tragically unlucky spot for your hoped-for penguin grooming business! But once you've mastered the basics, tested it out and know where your permanent friendly and unhelpful places are, you'll want to know where the winds of change and future are wafting, too....there are super-slow lines that can give you clues about where you might wish to retire someday, or where hidden fortune may lie  three years hence, when you graduate....and that's why you not only want to look at the Cyclo*Carto*Graphy map for next year or whenever you want, but it's why you need to know if you're going into an easy time to move or a hard one...a forced march or a magic carpet ride.

(Personally, I like to use three different predictive systems - that way you catch the extra, essential things...like the possibility of an angry acting-up pimple or appendix (we're not doctors - get a check-up!), a raffle win ... or the love of your life showing up. Progressions and transits, in this stargazer's experience, are never enough if you need serious predictive detailing. But many people don't really need this level of strategic planning or accuracy. I'm Manhattan- and London-  based and many of my clients have gazillions of crucial decisions to make every week. Doing skilled expert timing for optimum results is a  lot of work, and the rewards are rich. But not everyone needs to time when to put on a sarong, squoosh some pineapple juice and  go look at the sunset. ) Enjoy!

 Happy stargazing, Debbi Kempton-Smith
