i have a question about how my planet lines work.
Up to General Questions and Experiences
in my acg locality readings it says that "residing ... where there is more than one important planetary influence .... it is likely that one or more of the influences will be 'projected'." my question is - is it only difficult influences that will be projected? or fortunate ones as well? for instance, if success is predicted but i subconsciously believe i am not good enough to succeed, will i "project" that success on other people? and not experience it myself?
your help is appreciated.

Hi,
That's a really interesting question. I don't recall ever reading about the projection of influences but, from a basic psychological p.o.v., it seems probable that one would project either fortunate or difficult depending on the natal make-up.
I'm not current on how astro/carto has progressed in terms of 'official' teaching but when I was first introduced, mid-70's, I was advised that natal aspects didn't apply - that only conjunctions to angles were applicable. In my experienace, moving around to various locales, I've found that, indeed, one's natal aspects come into play. For instance, I have a natal sun/saturn opposition. When I moved to a location which placed sun on my ascendent, yes, I had more national recognition in my field than ever before; and those professional relationships were drawn to me rather than my going out to meet them. However, in that location, saturn was placed in my 6th house, but not conj. desc., and I'm here to tell you, I had very serious saturn in the 6th ramifications. I lived on that line for 4 years and it was rewarding but physically and financially taxing.
So, if I were you, I'd look at the relocation chart for that area with multiple aspects and, whatever you do or wherever you go, take up a practice which will help you receive your own success and own your own difficulties.
I'd love to hear what anyone else has experienced in this area.

Hi Sharon,
Much depends on which planetary lines you have at a location. For example, if you have SU MH and JU DSC at a location, you will likely receive a great deal of help from other people and benefit from this as a result. So it is not always difficult influences that are projected. One of the problems with a Jupiter line is that people can sometimes become lazy and expect success to fall into their laps, so you still need to make an effort to experience the beneficial influences.
When moving to a new location, you really need to allow up to one year before the new planetary influences become a part of your life. When you first arrive at a new location it is sometimes as if you are still still carrying the old planetary influences with you. Also, Cyclo*Carto*Graphy needs to be considered in case the permanent planetary influences at a location are modified in any way.
Hope this helps to answer your question.
