All Hail and Welcome!

Posted by Debbi Kempton-Smith at October 07. 2007

What a thrill at last, at last, to see this new Astro*Carto*Graphy website.

Anyone who wanders in...whether you're a bewildered newcomer,  a blasted, outrageously overworked astrologer - hey, maybe you're a shapeless mass of protoplasm just looking for a home...everybody's welcome here.

Who - or what - will turn up? One thing is certain - no two Astro*Carto*Graphy maps are alike, so there will be opportunities for unending conversation and comment.

If you've  just acquired your first Astro*Carto*Graphy map kit, you might already be chewing pencils, walking around in circles, and muttering to yourself,  'Do I just blast off to my Jupiter lines and be done with it?'

The answer is naaaaah, or well, maybe (that depends on what Jupiter is like in your natal horoscope). It's a bit trickier than that. You might have amazing, disgusting, delicious luck going on in a spot you don't know about...yet. Most of us would give anything to know where those places are.

That's what your Cyclo*Carto*Graphy map  is for, yes, the scary-looking one with all the red spaghetti lines plastered across the your world. A Cyclo map plots lines that reveal hidden extra opportunities for fame and fortune, love, lust,  peace, enlightenment, beauty, success, contentment, doom, bankruptcy and ruin.  These opportunity spots are slipping and sneaking around your world map all the time, telling us  when to go where and for what. And honey, those places keep moving around. Gotta keep an eye on 'em. Sometimes you can stay put and sit there with a bag of potato chips and those lucky lines will come to you.

It's a space-time thing. The neat trick in Astro*Carto*Graphy is never just about where to go...it's also about when to go. (The grueling, fascinating and diabolical exam for Astro*Carto*Graphy licensed interpreters even opens up the question of why one might be going to a certain location. Another story,  for another time. )

The most important bit to remember when studying these maps is: you have a salad bar of possibilities. There's never just one ideal place to go or be. We know now, via quantum physics,  there's no such thing as one fixed destiny. The future looks like what theoretical physicists call 'branching histories'. When you go is just as important as where.  Go now, total result. Go later, a little trickier.

But what a tremendously illuminating way to embrace and explore the world. These maps will knock your socks off.  Bon voyage.

                                                     Your Faithful Stargazer,

                                                                                         Debbi Kempton-Smith

It would certainly be hard to describe the adventure of Astrocartography any better than that, Debbi.  Have you ever noticed, when sitting down to eat your carefully selected meal from the salad bar, that the person at the next table is eating something that you didn't even see when you got your food?  I'm hoping this forum might help us see more of the possibilities while we are making the big choice!

Well.. isn't this fabulous.  I'm Jeanne Adwani from Michigan.  I'm new to the process of Astro-Cart.  tho' I had it done many years ago (like 20) and again 6 years ago,and now..I do have a software program, (I feel sad I don't have 'THE' software of Jim's)  I have 'Horizons' from the Matrix people out of Michigan, that lays the Astro-cart map.  I'm hoping that I can learn, share and chat within the parameters of what I have as this time.  I'm fascinated by this type of Astrology and look forward to understanding the way to read them properly.

Peace to you all...

hello all,

and Debbi,

love your description......bewildered, blasted, etc. etc.........overworked....yes........

I just revisited the astro-cartography by buying another map, after losing the pone I had done years ago.

I am living on a strong Pluto and Venus line.....had the report done....woo hoo....... I just started a second web design business with a partner in Hawaii, right on my Venus line........

glad to see this site.......
