Help to figure out the astrocartography for my chart

Posted by Saintina at April 28. 2008

Is there a site where I can enter my birth coordinates and the coordinates of 2 locations that I am trying to choose amongst for relocation and then come up with some interpretation/conclusion or should I be going through an experienced astorcartographer?

Any websites or the names of recommended astrologers would be gratly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Saintina,

You can order ACG Locality readings at www.astronumerics.com.  You provide three cities you are interested in, and your birth data, and receive a computer report with a summary of any planet lines that might be effecting you in each city, and an interpretation of these lines by Jim Lewis.

You can also consult an astrologer trained in astrocartography.  There is an excellent listing of such astrologers at the Continuum website: http://www.continuumacg.net/practs.html

If you want a quick overview of the world in relation to angular planets, you could also have a look at www.astro.com and click on the Travel section. They have an interactive map you can use.

I do most of my own charts and have downloaded, for free, a handy program I use for this, Astrolog 4.5.  (They probably have later editions out by now, but my computer is a dinosaur.)  To do a relocational chart for another city, I just input the new latitude and longitude into my birthchart, making the appropriate adjustments for time zones, and save the new chart under a different name for future reference.  The new charts will then show me, along with other things, what planets are close to the angles. I'm sure you can find "Astrolog" by inputting it into your internet browser.
